Common questions
What is percent-encoding?
It replaces unsafe characters with a percent sign and two hexadecimal digits, for example a space becomes %20.
Should I encode a whole URL?
Usually you encode individual components such as query values. Encoding the entire URL can break its structure.
Is it free?
Yes.
